Building work at 5 Crown Hill, Rayleigh,
We were very delighted with all the work carried out by Coates Bro, at our house 5 Crown Hill Rayleigh.
The task was a challenging one – a small detached period house badly in need of repair,
on a restricted town centre site, within the Rayleigh conservation area.
From the first discussions until the completion of the works, we enjoyed an excellent relationship with Coates.
The house was completely reordered and slightly extended, involving removing the existing ground floor bathroom,
and creating a new bathroom upstairs, also demolishing and rebuilding the kitchen.
Other rooms were improved, a downstairs toilet and a new bedroom added.
As with all old houses different aspects of the building’s character and structure came to light along the way.
At every point Coates discussed the various options with us and prices were given.
All the members of the building team were pleasant and helpful.
The standard of both the internal and external works was excellent, and we cannot recommend Coates Bros too highly.
I have used Coates Bros on several occasions and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
Their workers are very courteous and tidy and arrive when they say they will and all the work,
I have had done was done on schedule and to my complete satisfaction.
